PowerOn modifications needed prior to upgrade to Theme 2
Custom PowerOns (non-standard/library)
If your credit union is using one or more non-standard PowerOn files that were developed and/or implemented during your NetTeller Online Banking installation, these PowerOns, in their current state, may be inhibiting your credit union's ability to adopt Theme 2 for NetTeller. Without modification to meet the Theme 2 standards, use of these PowerOns may result in errors or loss of functionality for your members.
Please review the four PowerOn modification options below so that these features can continue to function, and your credit union can take advantage of the new, modern design of NetTeller in Theme 2. As a reminder, Theme 1 will be sunset on June 30, 2017 and no longer supported.
Option 1
Using the NetTeller Theme 2 PowerOn Design Guide, have a PowerOn-qualified employee of the credit union make the necessary changes to the files. There is no fee associated with this option.
Option 2
Open a CWR case with Internet Solutions/NetTeller. Internet Solutions personnel will modify the PowerOns for you at a significantly reduced rate of $95/hour (versus the standard programming rate of $195/hour). PowerOn modifications are estimated at an average of eight (8) hours, or $760. This will be a one-time fee per PowerOn, and subsequent modifications due to NetTeller PowerOn style or functionality changes will be billed accordingly at the standard rate. Service Block hours can be used for the programming fees, however no other Service Block discounts will apply.
Option 3
Historically, Internet Solutions has not applied any annual maintenance charges to PowerOns developed during the install/conversion process. We are pleased to offer the option of adding annual Maintenance Agreements for these PowerOns. Request and sign an annual maintenance agreement for each NetTeller PowerOn, and Internet Solutions will ensure that they are updated in accordance with any NetTeller PowerOn style changes for the term of the agreement. Annual maintenance fees will be assessed at a rate of $750 per year, per PowerOn. This agreement will cover the fee for the modifications to Theme 2.
To request a Maintenance Agreement, open a jSource case (non-CWR) with the NetTeller support group, who will route your case to the appropriate group to have the agreement created. Once signed and executed, the case will subsequently be routed to the development teams to complete the PowerOn modifications. The annual fee will be considered in effect upon signature of the agreement.
Option 4
Engage a 3rd party to modify your credit union's PowerOns using the Theme 2 PowerOn Design Guide (see link in Option 1).
