TRAVEL INFORMATION

Travel to/from Kansas City Airport

Kansas City International (MCI) is about 40 miles north of the JHA office and recommended hotels, so allow about 35-40 minutes for your travel to and from the airport.  We strongly encourage you to rent a car upon your arrival. 

Allow 2 ½ hours to drive from our office to the airport, return your rental car, and make it through security in time to board your return flight. For example, if you left the JHA office at noon, you would almost certainly make a flight that left at 2:30 pm. Allot as much or as little time as you feel comfortable with, keeping in mind that 2.5 hours is a pretty reliable benchmark.
